About Us
About Karen:
I spent the first 21 years of my life on a farm in Cornwall, most of
my spare time was spent on the farm working with the animals or at home
where our family had all manner of pets from dogs, cats, guinea pigs,
ferrets, pet lambs and pigs.
I have worked in financial services for fifteen years until recently being given the opportunity to opt for redundancy from a well known local building society. I decided to combine my love of pets with my business experience to set up in business as a pet sitter. This is when Emma and I created Feed My Pets we started by operating the business on a part time basis but due to the popularity of the service are now operating full-time so be able to provide the service your pets deserve.
About Emma:
My childhood was always full of animals - my family are market
gardeners in the Midlands and so I was always surrounded by dogs, cats,
chickens, mice, and rabbits!!
Ever since I can remember I have owned cats and dogs - right now I have 2 cats (Max and Paddy) who keep me on my toes. Max is 13 years old and is still as playful as ever - mind you he has to be, as Paddy is a kitten and playtime is all the time!
I have used catteries in the past and I know from personal experience that Max finds the whole ordeal very stressful and has returned home disorientated, lost weight and generally not him self.
I believe that this is an ideal combination of ensuring your pet is well looked after in the comfort of their own surroundings, along with the reassurance that someone is keeping an eye on your property too.
My long term ambition has always been to work with animals, and so I decided to take the plunge when my last company offered redundancy.
We are fully insured, loving, caring and very experienced to look after your pets to the highest degree.
